Research Associate in Labour Markets Analysis

Working with Professor Graeme Roy, this role requires a background in economics-related research and quantitative methods, and expert knowledge in the area of labour markets analysis.

Supported by other members of the team, you will play a leading role in the production of research publications and research proposals. You will have the opportunity to become familiar with new forms of data relevant to labour markets, helping to develop current data resources and identify new opportunities to expand these. You will play a central role in developing and supporting the community of researchers using UBDC’s Digital Footprints data.

You will receive structured mentoring and explicit support for career development towards building research skills and experience, which includes helping to manage and direct complex and challenging projects, as opportunities allow.

Salary will be on the Research and Teaching Grade, level 7, £37,474 - £42,155 per annum. This post is full time (35 hours per week) and has funding until 30 September 2024.
