Jiazhi's PhD research aims to explore the combination of machine learning algorithms, deep learning algorithms and geo-features for optimisation and application in the field of GeoAI to solve several real-world problems.

His educational background is interdisciplinary. Before pursuing his PhD, Jiazhi completed an MSc in Data Science at the University of Sheffield. He completed a BEng in Computer Science and Technology at Henan University.
