The Communications and Engagement Officer plays a critical role at the Urban Big Data Centre, developing and delivering a comprehensive communications strategy to ensure that comms and engagement are central to UBDC's research and data services activities.

Former journalist, Martin has a wealth of communications experience in broadcasting, local government and higher education having worked in senior roles at STV North and Aberdeen City Council as well as the Universities of Aberdeen, Heriot-Watt and five years in Corporate Communications at the University of Glasgow.
