UBDC is delighted to announce a Masterclass with Professor Harvey J. Miller, Chair in Geographic Information Science and Professor at The Ohio State University.
This masterclass is aimed primarily at postgraduate and early career researchers - please see full agenda below. Refreshments and light lunch will be provided.

- 12:20pm – 12:50pm - Professor Miller provides an overview of his research in general terms, discusses present work, methods and methodology, and any unifying themes, questions or puzzles that link his research over time.
- 12:50pm – 1:00pm - Q&A
- 1:00pm – 2:00pm - Brief 15 minute presentations from 3 pre-selected participants, with comments and open discussion following each. This session is more focused on student questions and open discussion with input by Professor Miller. Chaired by Professor Piyushimita (Vonu) Thakuriah.
