Please join us for the first event in our Intersectional Inequalities in STEM webinar series. These events are intended as open dialogical spaces of knowledge exchange, focusing on the experiences of under-represented groups in STEM academia and industry.
Our first event will take place on International Women's Day and will feature research findings from VisNET (EPSRC-funded) and Gendered Journeys (GCRF-funded) projects.
The event is hosted by Urban Big Data Centre, and after a brief introduction to findings in Indian, Rwandan and UK contexts, we will open the floor for discussion of barriers and solutions for addressing gendered inequalities in STEM study and working.
We envisage our series leading up to a manifesto for 'STEM as we ARE' launching Autumn 2023.
